Make room in the record books, specifically for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague team with the most season tickets sold ahead of the new season.

Partizan Mozzart Bet proudly announced selling 16,124 season tickets and noted the new record in Europe’s premier club continental competition on Thursday.

Meeting with the board of directors, team president Ostoja Mijailovic disclosed the new record. “I don’t know if any European team will ever reach this record,” he said, “Thanks to the fans, they exceeded our expectations.”

Celebrating the return of the Belgrade outfit to EuroLeague in 2022, the club loyals purchasing 11,500 season tickets covered almost two-thirds of the 18,500-seat capacity of Stark Arena. The record-breaking turnout will sit a staggering 87% in every home game of the new season.

The team coached by Zeljko Obradovic will visit Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Round 1 of the 2023-24 EuroLeague Regular Season on October 5. The home opener follows in Round 3 with FC Barcelona making the trip to the capital of Serbia to deal with the electrifying support of the Partizan followers.

Building up the 2023-24 roster, Partizan picked up P.J. Dozier, Ognjen Jaramaz, Frank Kaminsky, and Mateusz Ponitka during the offseason. Already a solid list, especially considering the returning players, but one or two more players are expected to be added, as confirmed by Mijailovic to the board of directors.

Danilo Andjusic, Aleksa Avramovic, Balsa Koprivica, Zach LeDay, James Nunnally, Kevin Punter, Alen Smailagic, Uros Trifunovic, and Tristan Vukcevic are all running it back with Partizan.
