The 2023 FIBA World Cup Quarterfinals have concluded, with Serbia set to face Canada and Germany to play against the USA in the semifinals. With these matchups, all direct tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics have been secured.

Serbia and Germany will occupy spots reserved for the two highest-ranked European teams at the World Cup, while the USA and Canada have secured the two Americas quota spots.

They will join the hosts, France, and the best-ranked national team from Asia, Japan, the best-placed team from Africa, South Sudan, and Australia, which claimed the spot reserved for the highest-ranking team from Oceania.

Four more places will be filled after Qualifying Tournaments, where 24 countries will compete, including the winners of the Pre-Qualifying Tournaments: Bahamas, Bahrain, Cameroon, Croatia, and Poland.

Among the remaining 19 participants are the highest-placed teams from each region of Africa, the Americas, and Asia/Oceania, following the eight directly qualified teams: Egypt, Puerto Rico, and New Zealand.

The remaining spots will be filled by the next 16 highest-placed teams at the World Cup: Angola, Brazil, Cote D’Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Philippines, Lebanon, Mexico, Slovenia, and Spain.
